Here is Adam Davis from Spruce Tree Music in Madison, WI.  This is what the folks there at Spruce Tree have to say about their Yellowstone.
"It's cool, for sure. It's
eye-catching. It's fun to play. It behaves differently than older acoustic archtops, but that might be expected at this point. We think the sound is still developing. Adam says it's a bit different every  time he picks it up. And what he hears when he plays it is more mid-rangey than what he hears out front, when it sounds brighter. I personally think if it as sounding fat, smooth, woody, chunky. It's as if we're still discovering this guitar. It has some typical attributes of classic archtops, but there are things about it that remind me of interesting flattop guitars from the 1930s too."
