Here is Adam Davis from
Spruce Tree
Music in Madison, WI. This is what the folks there at
Spruce Tree have to say about their Yellowstone.
"It's cool, for sure. It's
eye-catching. It's fun to play. It behaves differently than older acoustic
archtops, but that might be expected at this point. We think the sound is
still developing. Adam says it's a bit different every time he picks
it up. And what he hears when he plays it is more mid-rangey than what he
hears out front, when it sounds brighter. I personally think if it as
sounding fat, smooth, woody, chunky. It's as if we're still discovering
this guitar. It has some typical attributes of classic archtops, but there
are things about it that remind me of interesting flattop guitars from the
1930s too."
Here are some pictures of our Yellowstone carved top guitar. It
sports the standard Yellowstone sunburst.
