Specifications
Named for the rugged Beartooth mountain range in South
Central Montana.
This range contains Montana's highest peak, Granite Peak,
at 12,799 feet.
It is also part of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Area
which encompasses
the lower 48's largest single expanse of land above 10,000 feet.
