Here are some photos of me with my new Gallatin. I love
this instrument. I've always been attracted to the less flashy mandos. I
think the F-style mandolin is an absolute work of art regardless of
sunburst finish, binding, inlays, and shiny hardware. The wood itself is
beautiful and I like seeing the grain and natural color.
I'm in my third year of playing mandolin. My focus is
bluegrass, but the tunes I write come out very Irish sounding.... not sure
why, not being Irish and all. This is my primary player and I love the way
it cuts through the guitar mayhem at my local jam. I would enjoy playing
with a band someday, but likely I'll be pickin' with folks I like and
having a great time. Thanks for building quality affordable instruments.
I'm proud to have a Montana-made mandolin.
