I now call the San
Diego area my home, after being raised in
the Midwest. By profession I am an airline pilot.
My ancestors immigrated from Scotland; I guess
that's how my love
for Scottish music
was generated
in me. I recently
began playing in the House Of Scotland Ceilidh band (guitar), but with a
passion
for the mandolin, I began my quest for
the "perfect one".
After months of
playing various instruments, I found
the Bridger! What a sweet tone! Great projection and sustain!
The custom color is gorgeous. This instrument is truly perfect for
my Ceilidh band playing, yet
adapts beautifully for playing in the San
Diego Mandolin Orchestra.
