Ron lives in Richardson, TX, and is strictly a parlor picker, playing solo
in the comfort and security of his own home. He loves to play fiddle tunes
(American or Irish), as well as bluegrass, old time, hymns, and
anything composed by Turlough O'Carolan. While mandolin is his main
instrument, he also enjoys collecting and playing old-time banjos,
guitars, and hammered dulcimers. He has been a frequent instrument
trader, and takes particular delight in ordering custom mandolins from
Weber and working with Paula to come up with something unique and
special. |
