I've
been playing music of one sort or another since I was 8 years old. Later
I started playing Coffee Houses and Open Mikes and places that you can
hardly imagine.
I have tried my hand at Rock, Country, Covers, Etc but have
always been a Folkie at heart. "This apple did not fall very far from the
tree". Lately I've been doing some Country but Folk, Bluegrass and
Traditional music seem to take up most of my playing.
The Folk music in the Midwest has a particular flavor all of its
own. "Railroad Songs", "Lumberjack tales", And my own particular favorite
"Ship Songs" ( About the Ore Freighters and Sailors on these Great Lakes
) Over the years I have tried to contribute to the Folk scene around here
with a few of my own compositions.
As for my Custom Umber Aspen 2, I can't say enough about it, The
workmanship is superb, And the more I play it the better it sounds. I'm
"Very" glad I chose a Weber. |
